Anne

Anne McGregor-Lowndes – Senior Consultant

As a highly experienced practitioner in communications, Anne is regarded as one of Brisbane's senior business women after recently selling her 20 year old PR company to a multi-national at the end of 2007. With interest and expertise in community relations, crisis management and the 'dirty' zone of extractive industries, Anne is now a specialist consultant only to McCall's Public Relations.

Leading clients of Anne's have been BP Australia, Qld Cement Limited, Brisbane River Festival, Townsville Office of Economic Development, Australian Horticultural Corporation, Department of Natural Resources (QLD), Healthy Water Ways, Ampol Oil Refinery, Kogan Creek Coal Mine.

Anne commenced her career in Public Relations at 4BC – Brisbane, Channel 7 Current Affairs and later on – on the personal staff of Lord Mayor – Sallyanne Atkinson. In the peak of the 1990 recession, Anne took a bold move and started her own PR company, The Corporate Advantage, which grew into a national and international company servicing local and overseas clients. In 1998 Anne became President of Asia/Pacific for IPREX (International PR Expertise) and travelled extensively recruiting solid and like-minded PR companies throughout Asia and India.

Anne's strengths lie in the ability to manage a high-edged team of professional individuals and allow them the ability to grow and understand the demanding world of public relations.
